Sacramento River King Salmon 10-13-2016

Returning client Rob Gordan brought along his buddies Jim and Mike fro a days fishing trip on the Sacramento River. The day started out fast as we only made it about a half mile down river when the starboard side rod got hammered and Mike was up first and we soon has our first fish of the day was in the net. We picked up and tried to stay ahead of the school of fish, we did mark a few fish, but they were reluctant to strike, then on one pass as  I was telling a story the port side rod was getting hammered, but before anyone could get the rod out of the holder the fish let go, and just another 50 yards down stream the same thing happened again, and that would be it for the day. Thanks again guys. Sorry for the slow action, but if the fish are not coming through the system it makes for a tough day.
