Returning clients Dan and Mike were on-board once again with me on the 1st day of March, we had cloudy conditions and the water clarity was not the best at four to five feet visibility at best. After launching the boat we headed out and started fishing with two lead-core rods. It wasn’t long when Dan spoke up and said that the starboard rod had been tapped and finally after a minute the rod finally doubled over, as mike reeled in the fish it was a great way to start the morning. The action was not fast however the bite seemed to turn on after an hour so we continued to thoroughly work the area for seven nice trout. After the bites stopped we moved to another location and we had one very hard grab, but the fish did not hang on, so we moved on to another location for nothing and after heading back to our original location we tried a different technique to no avail. So we called it a day and headed for home. A great day with two great guys. Thanks again guys…
